Official BeRacing FBMW templates and painting regulations

Click the link below to download the official BeRacing FBMW template which you will have to use when painting your cars.

DOWNLOAD TEMPLATES (PSD) Full credits to Team IDT as creators of the templates. All I did was adding our partner logo's on it.


Painting regulations

- The layer sets flagged 'Mandatory' (being 'Shading and Panels', 'Parts' and 'BeRacing Logos') must be visible on the car and you may not move them.

- The rest of the paint job (colours, scheme and other sponsors is free of choice)

- Both cars of a team must have the same base scheme and colours (some minor differences like different rear wing side colours are allowed)

- Car numbers: the car number must be clearly visible on both sides of the rear wing, and on the nose. Font and colour of the numbers is free of choice.


Helmets

Drivers may paint their helmets with the helmet template provided in the download. This is however not mandatory.


Submitting your paintjob

Once you're done painting, save the file(s) in JPG format at highest possible quality and send it to me. Make sure you made the layer 'Creation Layers' invisible.

Your paintjob will be examined and approved or rejected.

That's all you have to do, you don't have to create the team folder (dds, veh, ...). BeRacing will create them and provide all the cars in a download pack at the start of the season.

For those of you who don't know, vehicle viewer is an excellent tool to check out your paintjobs on the car without having to launch the game.

Testrace is coming closer guys (25/03). I'd like to hold the testrace with the custom skins to test them out.

So please I would like to ask all of you to send your team/car liveries at last by Wednesday March 21, cause I have to prepare them and provide them to download.

Hi,
This is the first time ý have ever tried to paint a car and I have some problems. My first problem is I cant view the car with vehicle viewer. The prog. can not open jpegs and psds. How can I convert them into the appropriate file format?

Hi,

you need to save it as a DDS file(you will need the dds plugin or the dds convertor program),then make a team in rfactor then open the .veh file.

i guess you just joined and are able to race?,why not take one of the other cars that are not in use,i know the 66 performence racing car dont get used in any race and its very unlikely it will,would be easy i think instead of releasing a skin pack for one skin when where nearly half way into the season.

Indeed using the Performance Racing cars Is a possibility, but I'll let marooned decide that. If he wants to make a team and paint his cars, I'll let him do that. And I won't release it as a whole new carpack but rather as a separate download like I did with the EMD cars. It's not too big of a deal.

Now that I think about it, using the Performance cars is not an option cause Sam Peeler is a regular racer with one of these cars and marooned wants to join with a friend, so he would need two free spare cars.

Are you sure there are unoccupied cars? We (me and a friend) need 2 free cars. I checked the cars from the link in the main page and they all look occupied.

Well I am trying to get ready but I dont know if I am fast enough or my first paint job is good enough
My firend has some exams right now but he'll be here soon, he is consistent.

So we'll try to be in the sunday's race but as you can imagine the mod is totaly new for us and if we cant get used to it totally we willl no want to ruin anyones race because of our lack of experience in the mod.
